We want to let you know again what a wonderful job you are doing.  Thanks for signing up and making a difference out there in the world of promotions J  We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again – you all rock!

We have formed a new and exciting mission for you all.  This one can really make all the difference.  This same mission will be posted on the arsonist site very soon, so please check in there if you lose this email, or your dog eats it, or it catches on fire or…yea, you get the drift! Hee hee….We realize by emailing you this mission instead of simply posting it on the board, that it is a somewhat different approach, and we’re hoping a more personal one at that.  It is important for us all to have an open communication with one another especially while we are still building our team up (to eventually take over the world of course!)

MISSION:  Please decide on 1-2 message boards of other artists (preferably in a similar genre to Charlotte) that you wish to begin slowly introducing Charlotte and her music to.  Please base your decisions on boards and artists that you truly enjoy and not just because you feel it is the right choice.  After you have made your decision, please email Crystal:  crystal@charlottemartin.com with your choices in an email titled “My Board Posts” and she will compile all the info into a neat little list for everyone to view.  This will help all of us in many ways.

A few things to keep in mind:

1)      Before making your first post, please do a full check on the board to make sure someone else has not already done so.  This will eliminate “over posting” and limit the chances for members of that board to dislike us!

2)      Once you begin posting, please make your initial post and several posts thereafter, unrelated to Charlotte.   Eventually you can slowly begin to plug Charlotte’s name after you have gained the trust and friendship of the board.  This will eliminate  “spamming” of the boards…the worst offense in online communication (as we all know!)  An example of spamming would be:  going onto one of your chosen boards and on your initial post saying something like:  “Hey everyone!  Check out www.charlottemartin.com!”  Bad news……it’s like an annoying car commercial where the man sits there and yells at you to buy his car.  No one likes that!  Besides, it’s much more effective to be clever with posting.  (We know most of this stuff is common sense, but it has to be said anyway so thanks for listening).

3)      If I were you, instead of using the ID you have created for Charlotte’s board, I would choose a different screename/onlineID for the boards you post on.  This way, when people from other boards checkout her website, it is not obvious who you are – they will not recognize you as the same online personality.  (Please include these names in your “My Board Posts” to Crystal as well).  Thanks!
